Easter 2009

Chloee had a joyous Easter. The Easter Bunny left many surprises in her basket. She helped me color Easter eggs, and decorate them. We went over to mom and dads for BBQ. I picked up Grandma Pearson and brought her out to spend Easter with us. Chloee hunted for easter eggs all around the folks' yard. The weather was nice. Happy Easter sweetie!

Wheeler Historic Farm-Easter Carnival

We took Chloee to the Wheeler Historic Farm. They were having an Easter Carnival. She had so much fun. Seeing all the animals, she went on her first pony ride. There was a princess to meet. The Easter Bunny was there and an Easter egg hunt. the bunny was kinda creepy looking. She got to see chickens, ducks, pigs, cows, horses, goats, sheep, turkeys, baby chicks, lambs, rabbits. The weather was mild, we didn't get rained on. Wheeler Farm is a beautiful place. They had many vendor booths, bounce houses (and other inflatables), face painting, food, hay rides. I'm glad we went, watching her enjoy it was the best part.

Chloee and her 3 Cavities!

My dear sweet girl went for her 2nd checkup on March 10. I had noticed a dark spot on her tooth and figured it was a cavity. And it was, times 3. I feel horrible, but it happens. So our dentist scheduled her to come back on March 26 and have them filled. She was a trooper, and I couldn't have been prouder. But too many new feelings and not feeling anything from the gas and shots was a bit too scary for her so our dentist stopped. He didn't want her to not like coming to the dentist. He coordinates with an anesthesiologist out of Salt Lake to come up and do sedation. But, the coordination couldn't be done until May, and I wasn't going to wait that long to fix her teeth. So, after talking with a girl from work, she recommended Dr. Camron Quayle of Mountain View Pediatric denistry. they we able to work her in the next week. Seeing her sedated was quite amusing. It was like she was drunk. She did great, I was VERY pleased with Dr. Cam and his staff. Thanks for a job well done!

Treehouse 12-31-08

The Treehouse in Ogden had a New Year's Eve event. They had a countdown to Noon. I called my cousin Billy's wife, Jamie, and asked her if she'd like to go. We took Chloee and Gracie down to experience the Treehouse for the first time. I believe us and everyone else had the same idea to have our little ones experience New Year's Eve. I have never been to the Treehouse and it was awesome. There is so much for kids to do. They had 2 magic shows scheduled. They handed out a treat bag for the "countdown to noon". It contained streamers, horns, a pencil and a bag of M&M's. They had everyone gather at 4 different locations at the Treehouse and we all counted down to "noon" and cheered Happy New Year. Chloee and Gracie had a great time, even though there were tons of people there. Afterward, we took them to McDonald's for lunch. Jamie's sister Alex joined us to eat. The girl's had fun playing there afterward. Thanks for a great afternoon Jamie & Gracie, we love you!

Christmas Day 2008

Merry Christmas! Chloee woke up to see all the surprises that Santa had left her. Of course, she was spoiled as ever. Later that day, we went over to Mike and Ann's to eat. Trent, Jen, Kaylee & Trevor were there, along with Kelly, Jami & Kasen. Mark & Ann came, mom and dad, Keith & Fern. Food was great. It was nice being around family and spending time together. Afterwards, we went up to my folks' so Chloee could open her presents from Grandpa & Grandma. She got one of those Rose Petal cottages and all the furniture. Cute playhouse for her. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday.
