Turkey Cards

Chloee made Thanksgiving Day cards for her grandparents. I traced her hand for her and drew on the eyes, beak, waddle and wing. She did the decorating herself. Glued on pompoms, feathers, legs and lots and lots of colorful glitter glue. Her grandparents were so thrilled when she gave them their cards and wished them a Happy Thanksgiving!

New Yard Toy

Here I proudly stand with my new "Toro Ultra Blower/Vacuum". Dad suggested getting one of these to help with all the leaves in my yard. It is a leaf blower, then after a few quick changes of tubing, it is also a vacuum. There is an impeller that turns the leaves to mulch and bags it all. They say you can go from 16 bags of leaves to 1 bag of mulched leaves. So nice not to have 400 bags of leaves to put in the trash.

Vetran's Parade 11-8-08

Ogden had its 3rd annual Vetran's parade on November 8. Me and dad went down (Chloee wanted to stay and play with grandma). We parked our chairs on the corner of 20th and Washington. Gov. Huntsman walked with others in the beginning of the parade. I got a pic of him, he is the 2nd person in from the left. Nice parade, nice weather.

Pumpkin Painting

We took Chloee up the the fruit stands in Perry to get her pumpkins for Halloween. She fell asleep on the way up. When we got back to mom and dads, she wanted to paint her pumpkins. She did a great job of scrubbing them clean. She enjoyed painting her masterpieces.

Time to Trick-or-Treat!

Happy Halloween! After getting the princess ready, we headed over to mom and dads. We took many more pics of our sweet Princess Chloee. She loves posing for the camera. Mom took some shots of her standing in front of mom's blow-up ghost. Papa and Montee got a photo with the princess. We walked over to the neighbors (Kristi's) to show her off and start the trick-or-treating. Kristi's daughter, Paige, was up from Vegas. Little Elliott is 18 months now. Chloee enjoyed trick-or-treating around the old neighborhood. We took her down the block and then she decided she was done for the night. She got a lot of treats. We came back to mom and dads and ate. Chloee spent the night there and helped Papa hand out treats. Can't wait till next year!

Princess Chloee

Chloee decided she wanted to be a princess this year for Halloween. She chose Cinderella. I was very excited that she actaully wanted to wear a costume this year. The last 2 years, she has refused to wear a costume. She couldn't wait to get her hair and make-up done and put on her dress and princess shoes. She's the prettiest princess I have very seen.

Pumpkin Coloring & Carving

As I was cleaning out our pumpkins, Chloee came in to see what she could do to help. She watched me draw on the faces to be carved and asked where her crayons were. So, after I carved the faces, she added her own special touch and colored each pumpkin. I was very proud of her work. She even helped me carry them outside.
